For the symptomatic relief of indigestion.
Directions:
Adults, the elderly and children 12 years and over - take 1g to 5g in water every 4 to 6 hours (a level 5ml teaspoon holds about 5g). Not recommended for children under the age of 12 years.
Active ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate BP 100%.
Precautions:
Do not use if you have a weak heart. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have heart, kidney or liver problems, are taking other medicines, or are pregnant. May cause abdominal cramps and flatulence. This medicinal product contains 60 mmol sodium per 5g dose. To be taken into consideration by patients on a controlled sodium diet. Consult your doctor if the symptoms persist or if you have any side effects.
In rare circumstances this product may be substituted for another brand which has identical ingredients.
