Corsodyl Mint Chlorhexidine Gluconate Mouthwash 600ml.
What is Corsodyl for? It is an antibacterial solution which inhibits the formation of dental plaque & is used to; treat and prevent gingivitis (gum disease), promote gum heeling after dental surgery or treatment, control mouth ulcers, maintain mouth hygiene, manage oral thrush & denture sore mouth.
Directions:
Use twice daily. Fill the cap to the 10ml line. Rinse mouth thoroughly for one minute then spit out.
Gum disease - One month course (600ml) is recommended.
Mouth ulcers & oral thrush - Continue to use for 2 days after healing has occurred.
Denture sore mouth - Dentures should be cleansed & soaked in Corsodyl for 15 minutes twice daily.
Dental surgery - Rinse as directed by your dentist.
Ingredients:
0.2% w/v chlorhexidine gluconate (equivalent to 1.0% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution Ph Eur), ethanol 7% v/v, polyoxyethylene hydrogented cactex oil, ponceau 4R (E 124), aniseed oil, peppermint oil water.
Precautions:
When using - For Oral Use Only. Not intended to be swallowed but accidental swallowing is unlikely to cause harm. Avoid contact with eyes and ears & wash thoroughly if this occurs. You may notice a change of taste or burning sensation when you first use the mouthwash. Avoid bleaching any fabrics which have been in contact with the mouthwash, as brown stains may develop.
