Directions:
Preparation
Plastic gloves (worn to prevent nail staining). Colour base bottle. Applicator tip bottle with developer. Timer, clock or watch. Old towels or shirt (to protect skin, clothes and counter). Damp paper towel (to wipe skin if hair colour gets on it). Scissors. Cotton swab or tissue (for allergy patch test).
Colour Review Test
If your hair has been treated with straighteners, relaxers, or permanents, or if you would like to preview your colour, do this simple test just before full application. Apply in 1 minute (or less) to the full length of a ½" wide section of hair. Leave on hair 5 minutes. Rinse and dry. If results are satisfactory, proceed to a full head application. If you want to gain the lightest shade of this colour, wait 3 minutes. If you want to gain the darkest shade of this colour, or if hair resists colour, wait 6 to 10 minutes.
Mix And Apply
Mix
Shake colour base bottle thoroughly. Pour colour base into applicator bottle and replace caps. Shake applicator bottle thoroughly to mix. Snip applicator tip slightly below solid plastic tip away from face. Apply the hair colour mixture immediately for maximum effectiveness. Don't delay.
Note
Use as much mixture as needed to wet hair thoroughly and uniformly, even if you use all of it.
First Time Application
(For men who have never coloured their hair). Using plastic gloves, apply to dry hair that has been washed the day before. Do not shampoo or wet hair first.
Important
Apply quickly, taking no more than 3 minutes. Squeeze on mixture. Start at temples, hair line or where hair is greyest. Next apply to the roots, parting hair every ½" or so, then do the rest of your hair. Don't forget the back and sides! Hair that is not covered will remain grey. Lather in like shampoo, making sure to cover all parts. Remember, do not take more than 3 minutes to complete application! Do not add water. Discard any unused mixture. Wait 5 minutes.
Important
Start timing yourself after the application is completed. Don't guess, use a timer or watch. Wait only 5 minutes or a bit less. Yes that's all it takes! Rinsing your hair immediately after only 5 minutes gives you the right amount of natural colour and prevents colour from going too dark.

Rinse And Dry
Add a little warm water and work into a lather (shampoo and conditioner are contained in mixture). Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Towel or blow dry as usual.
Note
Avoid spilling hair colour on clothing and porous surfaces, permanent staining could occur. Protect clothing and surfaces with old towels or shirt. Wash spills immediately with soap and water. For resistant skin stains, use cold cream or peroxide.
Repeat Applications
(For men who have used haircolouring 1 / 2 months ago and see grey roots growing in). Apply quickly. Part hair every ½" or so and squeeze mixture only on grey roots. Do not lather in. Do not add water. Wait only 4 minutes. Then, during the next minute (the 5th minute) comb mixture through all your hair. Keep combing, wiping excess mixture from comb into hair. Discard any unused mixture. To get a lighter shade of this colour, wait 3 minutes after application, then comb through hair during 4th minute. To keep some grey at the sideburns or temples, apply to those areas last and wipe away mixture right after.

Precautions:
Allergy Patch Test - 48 hours before each application. Allergies to products can develop, even though you had no reaction during previous usage. For this reason, it is important to take this allergy test 48 hours ahead of every use.
Wash Test Area - With mild soap and water, wash an area about the size of a ten pence piece inside your arm at your elbow. Pat dry.
Apply Colour Base Product - Use a cotton swab or tissue to apply a small amount of product from the bottle labeled colour base to test area.
Do Not Wash Test Area - Wait 48 hours unless you see reddening, or feel burning or other irritation. If you get any of these, wash area immediately, keep uncovered, and do not use just for men or any permanent hair colouring product. If you get no reaction on the unwashed patch test site after 48 hours, go ahead with the full application of just for men.
If you have ever experienced any allergic reaction following use of hair colouring products, do not use this or any other permanent hair colouring product. Always take the allergy test patch 48 hours before every application. Before use, carefully check the scalp and skin areas where just for men is to be applied for irritations, cuts, scratches or other unusual conditions. Do not use this or any other permanent hair colouring until your scalp or skin is in good condition. If you develop skin irritation anytime after using just for men, do not use it again. Do not use if you have skin depigmentation problems such as white patches on your skin (a condition called vitiligo), or if you have a family history of skin depigmentation problems, since allergic reaction or skin irritation may cause loss of skin pigment. Do not use on eyebrows or eyelashes, to do so may be injurious to the eye. When possible, remove contact lenses before applying hair colour. If mixture gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with cool water. If irritation persists, call a doctor. Keep all hair colouring products out of the reach of children.
