Soothelip Cold Sore Cream 2g.

Aciclovir Cream

For cold sores - Aciclovir is an antiviral agent that has been shown to be effective in treating infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, such as cold sores.

It is important to start treating the cold sore as soon as it begins. You may be able to tell when you are about to get a cold sore (an itching or tingling feeling). You should use the cream when you first notice this itching or tingling feeling as it may prevent the cold sore from developing.

Directions:

Apply a small amount of Soothelip to the affected area 5 times a day, at 4 hourly intervals, for 5 to 10 days.

Wash your hands before and after applying the cream, this will prevent your cold sore getting worse or spreading, or you infecting someone else.

Apply the cream to the affected area five times daily about every four hours for five days.

If your cold sore has not healed after five days of treatment you can continue using the cream for another five days.

If your cold sore has not healed after ten days or gets worse during treatment, you should consult your doctor.

If you forget a treatment with the cream apply it as soon as you remember and then apply the next treatment with the cream at the usual time. You are very unlikely to suffer any bad effects if you accidentally swallow Soothelip, but if you notice any unusual effects or are worried, contact your doctor.
